2021 Gasparilla Concours dEleganceTampa BayDecember 3-5, 2021This event continues to celebrate 100 Years of Automotive Excellence annually with a unique centennial automobile as the featured vehicle. The original, 2019, marquee was President Woodrow Wilson’s 1919 Pierce Arrow limousine on loan from the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum in Staunton, Virginia, his birthplace. Prior to the cancellation of the 2020 Gasparilla Concours due to the pandemic, a beautiful 1920 Stutz Bearcat was planned to be the 2020 marque.Patterned after Pebble Beach and Amelia Island, this Concours will offer a multi-day schedule of events with exquisite classic vehicles worth millions of dollars both cars and motorcycles. This is the only true Concours d’Elegance for Tampa, and for those unfamiliar with Concours d’Elegances, they differ from a regular car show, as it is an invitation only event for the cars who apply to participate. This is where extraordinary vehicles, many never seen in public, are invited to take part and be judged for prestigious awards in the automotive community. The festivities kick off Friday night, December 3. The ceremony will host a Cars-in-the-Park Cocktail Party & Charity Auction. This will be a family friendly, fun night where exquisite cars, hot rods, restomods, exotics, the latest and greatest from dealerships, all will be on display prior to Saturdays major event. It will also offer food, live music, and a live and silent charity auction. On Saturday, December 4th, the main event, the Concours dElegance, will take place with exciting and beautiful automobiles and motorcycles on display and judged. Food and live music will be on scene to provide meals, refreshments, and entertainment. An elaborate Red-Carpet Awards Ceremony will complete the day.On Sunday, December 5th, the weekend will wrap up with a 3 hour Nickel Tour of the Historic Tampa Area touring Tampa along the beautiful Tampa neighborhoods ending with a catered picnic lunch. The Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance is a 501c3 non-profit organization with proceeds going to charity. This years benefactor will be the Friedreichs Ataxia Research Alliance FARA. FARA is also a public 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to curing Friedreichs Ataxia FA. Friedreichs Ataxia is a disease that causes difficulty walking, a loss of sensation in the arms and legs and impaired speech.
